Winter Trekking in Nepal (December-February)

For most people, it is too cold to walk in the high altitude areas in winter in Nepal. Daytime temperatures can vary between 9 and 12ºC (48 and 54ºF) and evenings can drop to lower temperatures. If you don't mind the cold, this is a great time to visit famous places like the Everest region, since it's less cool compared to October and November, low and medium traffic, where the weather remains fairly acceptable.
